Overview of Compass Improvement Proposal (CIP)

The governance of Compass Protocol is ratified through Compass Improvement Proposal ("CIPs").

COM tokens are required when submitting a new proposal to the DAO. Even with a small amount of tokens, you can register a new CIP and suggest a new use case for the DAO members to consider. Once a new CIP is generated,ㅇ DAO members would be able to cast their CIP vote. Should the CIP not pass, the COM tokens that were used to generate the CIP would be reallocated to stakers as staking rewards.
